2022 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay

The 2022 Hyde Chardonnay benefited from the small yields, the long, moderate Summer, and was picked just a few days into the heat of September. The color is a limpid silvery yellow with green flashes. On the nose, lemon meringue pie, asian pear, gunflint, and pastry crust meld together in great harmony. On the palate, the wine has oodles of finesse and a layered, lithe texture allowing the lively and nuanced flavors to unfold. That same texture leads to a symphonic finish with flavors of lemond curd, tangerine, and sandalwood.

Reviews
The 2022 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay was harvested just as the heat was coming in. It leaps from the glass with notes of fresh grapefruit, white peaches, and wet slate leading to a core of juicy pears, lime blossom, and allspice. The medium-bodied palate is silky and elegant with bright acidity and a long citrusy finish. Nice!
