Coming from the La Place Vineyard in Calistoga, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon La Place Vineyard (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot) delivers a beautiful array of redcurrants, new leather, incense, and floral notes intermixed with chocolate accents. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows a ripe, layered texture and fine tannins, with compelling depth and juicy energy. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak, this impressive release will drink nicely for 10-12 years.
