2021 Silver Eagle Pinot Noir

This famous Sonoma Coast vineyard in Occidental always turns out a blockbuster Pinot Noir with its Pommard clone and clay soils giving the one-two punch that brings power and pigment. Our job is to protect the perfume and aromatics, displayed here in abundance. Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, green Oolong tea, white pepper, dried orange peel, 5-spice and grilled bread float from the glass. On the palate, the luxurious texture, classic Pinot flavors, finish and balance are all in the right place, giving it everything it needs to age timelessly.

Reviews
The 2021 Silver Eagle Vineyard Pinot Noir is medium ruby-purple in color. A little subdued to start, it needs some coaxing to bring out notes of black cherries, fresh blackberries, and orange peel followed by hints of tar and crushed rocks with a waft of bay leaves. The medium to full-bodied palate is taut and dense, with firm, beautifully ripe velvety tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing long and savory.
